OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Metro Chamber and Economic Partner (CEP) held its monthly ExCEPtional Breakfast Wednesday morning.

According to the CEP, over 300 partners were present at the breakfast.

During the event, Dr. James Henningson, president of the College of Central Florida introduced many new initiatives and programs coming to the university.

According to Henningson, the university plans to introduce a new criminal justice center and the expansion of its dental hygiene center.

Henningson also announced a $20 million project – a new center for nursing at the college. The groundbreaking event is scheduled to happen on September 21. According to the university, first classes will start in January of 2025.

The university also plans to expand its vintage farm. They are the only university in the state that has a farm, according to Henningson.
