MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of theft and fraud.
The sheriff’s office says deputies responded to the Oak Room Bar and Grill on Thursday, Dec. 7, to take a report of theft and fraud. They say a woman told them that she was at the restaurant two days before and accidentally left her wallet which contained her iPhone, multiple bank cards, IDs, and approximately $500.
MCSO shared in a Facebook post that the woman later received notification from her bank that an individual attempted to use her stolen cards at Walmart and Publix for purchases totaling nearly $700 but was unsuccessful in doing so. In addition to those attempts to use her card, the victim told deputies that her stolen Lowe’s credit was used at two locations for purchases totaling over $1,400.
Detectives obtained store security camera footage and say the woman pictured is the individual who used the stolen cards. They say they also got images of the car she was driving from security cameras and hope that will also help identify her.

They are asking for help identifying the woman and are asking anyone with any information to call 352-732-9111.
