Two people injured when shots pierced through the front door of their Ocala apartment

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Police Department (OPD) is investigating a shooting at Parkside Apartments.

Around 9:20 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the apartments which are located at 621 NW 2nd St.

In a post on Facebook, OPD says shots were fired through a front door multiple times. Bullets hit a man and a woman inside. OPD says officers had to apply a tourniquet to one of the victims. OPD says both were taken to the hospital with injuries. Both are expected to survive the injuries.
