LAKE COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – UPDATE, 1/26/24, 2:40 p.m.: The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says both children have been found safe with their biological mother.

LCSO says they were found by authorities in Louisiana. The sheriff’s office shared in a Facebook post that their mother in now in custody on a kidnapping warrant that LCSO obtained.

UPDATE, 1/26/24, 4:00 a.m.: The search continues for two children missing from Sorrento. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has updated the Amber Alert saying that the girls are most likely with their biological mother, Dixie Stumpner Williams.

The sheriff’s office released new photos of 41-year-old Williams on Thursday evening to aid in the ongoing search.

The children – 5-year-old Tilli Williams and 20-month-old Natalia “Talli” Williams – were last seen by their foster mother on Wednesday evening.

PREVIOUSLY, 1/25/24: A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for two children missing since 11 p.m. Wednesday night.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says they received a call around 7 a.m. Thursday from a woman saying her two foster children were missing from a residence at 23419 Companero Drive in Sorrento.

The sheriff’s office says the children are 5-year-old Tilli Claire Williams and 20-month-old Natalia Williams.

LCSO says Tilli was last seen wearing gray or navy-blue pajamas with multicolored hearts.

Natalia Williams was last seen wearing a pink pajama dress and pink pants with hearts.

The method of travel or how the juveniles left the residence is also unknown.

The Amber Alert says the two may be in the company of 41-year-old Dixie Williams who also goes by the name Dixie Stumpner.

If you see the children or Dixie Williams, law enforcement ask that you not approach them and instead contact 911.
