OCALA, FL (352today.com) – If you’ve been waiting for a sign that it’s time to adopt a pet, this is it. Marion County Animal Services (MCAS) is joining 8 other shelters at Central Florida’s largest adoption event this weekend.

The Mega Dog Adoption Event is happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 17, to Sunday, May 19. It will be held at the Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds, located at 2508 West Oak Ave. in Plant City, Florida. MCAS staff will be onsite to give you options, insight into adoption, and to help find the perfect fit for your family.

We know that’s a bit of a drive for most of us here in North Central Florida. The event promises to be worth the miles with over 300 dogs ready for adoption FREE of cost. With so many adoptable dogs, you’re sure to find your family’s perfect match.
