OCALA, FL (352today.com) – I hate to be the bearer of bad news… but the weekend weather forecast isn’t looking great if you have outdoor plans.

Showers and thunderstorms are in store Friday through Sunday for North Central Florida. The National Weather Service (NWS) says the most likely timing is the afternoon and evening.

The NWS meteorologists say the added rainfall could cause more flooding along portions of the Suwannee and Santa Fe Rivers.

While it will be wet this weekend, there are still plenty of things to do that are not weather dependent.
