LEVY COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has arrested a vape shop owner on charges stemming from the sales of illegal drugs.
Search warrant
Deputies say they were conducting a lengthy investigation into 52-year-old Kent William Zimmerman, owner of the Juice Box vape shop located at 6891 NW 138 Pl., north of Chiefland. LCSO says the investigations stemmed from multiple complaints that Zimmerman was involved in illegal drug sales, including selling to minors.

Detectives worked for months until Tuesday afternoon when they served a search warrant at Zimmerman’s vape shop.
Detectives say they seized the following from the store:
- Hallucinogenic mushrooms
- LSD
- 6.5 pounds of marijuana
- Around 9 pounds of THC wax
- 15.73 pounds of THC vape oil
- 2.05 pounds of THC gummies
- Diazepam
- Buprenorphine
- Oxycodone
Outcome
LCSO concluded that Zimmerman’s vape shop was not a licensed THC dispensary, nor did he personally have prescriptions for the opioids.

Deputies arrested Zimmerman and charged him with:
- Trafficking in LSD
- Possession of hallucinogens
- Possession of a controlled drug without a prescription
- Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana
- Maintaining a shop where dangerous drugs are sold
His bond is set at $640,000.
