OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) answered a house fire late Thursday night and managed to save three dogs who were stuck inside.
The fire was reported at 11:09 p.m. at a one-story home on Banyan Track in Ocala. MCFR says that the homeowner called 911, saying her backyard and porch were on fire and her pets were trapped inside.

Firefighters from Rolling Greens Station arrived at the scene just over a minute after the alarm went off, finding the building full of smoke. They quickly began searching for anyone inside, while also setting up a hose line and checking the entire property. Extra teams from Silver Springs Shores, Belleview, and Anthony soon came to help manage the fire.
Firefighters launched an attack from inside to control the fire. Meanwhile, another team worked on the roof to let out smoke. Rescue teams searched the house thoroughly and found all three dogs, bringing them out safely.
The fire was brought under control at 11:34 p.m. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
