INVERNESS, FL (352today.com) – The community is coming together to honor Citrus County Fire Captain Mike Fletcher, who lost his life in an off-duty boating accident in Crystal River on July 4, 2024.
A memorial ride, hosted by the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, with all proceeds benefiting Fletcher’s family.

The ride will begin at the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office in Inverness and conclude at Crystal Harley Davidson in Homosassa. The event will feature a variety of activities, including vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and a raffle/silent auction.

- Cost: $30 for single riders, $50 for rider plus passenger
- Route: Escorted ride from Inverness to Homosassa
