OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Get ready to kick off the holiday season with festive cheer at the 6th Annual Downtown Ocala Christmas Golf Cart Parade on Saturday, Dec.  7th. This community event offers a unique blend of holiday spirit, creativity, and community support.

The festivities begin with pre-parade tailgating at the City Hall parking lot from 4 to 6 p.m., where participants can enjoy food trucks, mingle with neighbors, and watch as the golf carts are judged for creativity and holiday flair.

At 6 p.m., the parade officially kicks off, starting from City Hall and winding through the streets of downtown Ocala. Spectators are encouraged to find a spot near the Downtown Square and gazebo to take in the magical sights and sounds of the season. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair for a comfortable viewing experience.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Fostering Foundation, a local organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
