OCALA, FL (352today.com) – No one does it better than the ones who get paid to teach it to you.

The College of Central Florida’s visual arts faculty is no exception. From Jan. 8 to Feb. 6, 2025, they will display their art mastery at the biennial Faculty Art Exhibition, inviting art admirers to glimpse some of their unique artwork, including ceramics, fiber arts, mixed media, and printmaking.

Among the artists are Tyrus Clutter, a professor and program manager for art at the college, and Abigail Stallings, assistant professor and program manager for digital media.

Michele Wirt, senior professor of art, and Graham Young, associate professor of digital media, will also display their work.

“This dynamic exhibition celebrates the creativity and expertise of our visual arts faculty members, offering viewers an inspiring glimpse into the diverse approaches and techniques that define contemporary art,” said Dr Jason Longtin, visual and performing arts department chair. “Each work is a testament to the innovative spirit of our faculty, inviting visitors to experience the vibrant dialogue between tradition and experimentation that drives their artistic practices.”

There is an opening reception for the exhibition on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, from 4:30-7 p.m.

The art will be featured at the Webber Gallery at CF’s Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and admission is free.
