Earn an extra $500 a week by playing the Florida Lottery

TALLAHASSEE, FL (352today.com) – You have the chance to win $500 with a new raffle promotion the Florida Lottery is hosting.

According to Florida Lottery officials, starting Sept. 18 through Oct. 30, anyone who purchases a $10 or more CASH POP, FLORIDA LOTTO, MEGA MILLIONS, or POWERBALL ticket will receive a raffle ticket that enters them into a weekly drawing.

There will be six weekly drawings every Monday starting on Monday, Sept. 25, until Oct. 30. For every drawing, 100 players will each win $500 cash. Over the six weeks, 600 raffle winners will win a total of $300,000 in cash. The raffle promotion is expected to produce $40 million for education during the six weeks.

If you decide to play, you can check your raffle ticket at any lottery retailer, on the promotions tab at flalottery.com, or on the lottery’s mobile app under “Check My Ticket.” You must redeem your prize within 180 days at any lottery retailer or at one of the district offices.
