OCALA, FL (352today.com) – 2024 brought significant growth and development across North Central Florida, and the momentum isn’t stopping at the end of the year.

First on the list of additions is Chicken Guy, a quick-service restaurant founded by Guy Fieri. Known for its crispy fried chicken tenders and extensive selection of sauces, Chicken Guy currently operates 13 locations nationally, including two in Orlando. The Ocala edition will be located just behind State Road 200, in the Walmart Supercenter on Easy Street and is expected to open early 2025.
Further down State Road 200, Koto Express will be making its debut in Ocala. This casual Asian restaurant originated in Gainesville and specializes in hibachi-grilled meals and sushi rolls. The Ocala location will open just in front of Sam’s Club in west Ocala in 2025.
Just past Koto Express will be the last addition, a new location of Miller’s Ale House. Currently, you can enjoy Miller’s American pub-style menu at its Southeast 17th Street location. The new restaurant will be built on West State Road 200, just past Market Street at Heath Brook. Construction is set to begin in the new year, with an opening expected by the end of 2025.
These new spots, along with expected additions already in the works, show that 2025 holds exciting growth for Ocala’s dining and entertainment scene.
