Staff that have really never worked out before have been getting active and just seeing awesome results,” says Ocala Mayor Ben Marciano in a promotional video for the project. “The thing that makes this great is that there’s accountability, there’s challenges, and it’s really easy to do. So, I hope that you will join us in the next step challenge and improve your overall health.”
What AMP Offers

Upcoming Step Challenge
Residents are encouraged to participate in the citywide step challenge starting Jan. 1, 2025. Participation is straightforward:

- Select your City Councilmember or District.
- Start walking and logging your steps.
