LAKE COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office reports that 14-year-old Blayne Caruso has been found.
Original story, Jan. 7, 2025 at 1:49 p.m.: The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is currently on the lookout for a missing juvenile last seen in Umatilla.
Deputies with LCSO say 14-year-old Blayne Caruso has not been seen since disappearing on Saturday, January 4.
According to deputies, Caruso disappeared around 3 p.m. on Saturday and was last seen in the area of St. Thomas Avenue in Umatilla.
Deputies learned through one of Blayne’s siblings that he was planning to run away.


With cold temperatures approaching overnight, deputies are attempting to locate the juvenile who has reportedly never run away from home before.
LCSO helicopters and drones have flown over the St. Thomas area, with deputies searching on foot using a bloodhound.

Even with the extensive search, there is still no sign of Blayne.
Deputies say they remain unsure if Blayne is on foot, in a home, or in a vehicle.
According to eyewitnesses, Blayne was last seen wearing an orange long sleeve shirt, tan shorts, and was seen carrying a purple tablet.
Blayne is five-feet-four-inches tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde hair.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office shared Blayne’s disappearance on their Facebook page and is asking the local public for assistance.
