OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Horses dancing under the stars to live music? An Evening of Divertimentos & Dressage, presented by Lugano Diamonds, promises a captivating fusion of upper-level dressage riders and Grand Prix-level horses performing choreographed movements to musical selections by the Ocala Symphony Orchestra. Led by Chorus Director and Assistant Conductor Joshua Mazur, this unique event will take place on January 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at John and Leslie Malone’s Bridlewood Farm.
Several accomplished dressage riders, including Audrie Anthony, Alex Dominguez, Jessica Howington, Nicole Scarpino, and Erin Walker, will showcase their skills, performing to pieces by renowned classical composers.
The idea for Divertimentos & Dressage originated with Brooke USA board member Sally Frick. The event’s committee co-chairs—Brooke USA Foundation’s Ocala Regional Advisory Council’s Sally Lewis and Laurie Zink, Brooke USA board member Tami Fratis, and Brooke USA’s Morgan Measey, chair of the young professional council—played pivotal roles in bringing this event to life.

“We are thrilled to bring to life Brooke USA’s Divertimentos & Dressage presented by Lugano Diamonds right here in Ocala,” says Sally Lewis. “This will be a benefit concert like no other, bringing together people who genuinely want to make a difference in helping to improve the health, welfare, and productivity of working horses, donkeys and mules.”
The evening will include a cocktail reception, silent auction, and travel auction. Registration begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by a pre-performance reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The main event, a one-hour performance of music and freestyle dressage, starts promptly at 7:00 p.m.
