OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a two-vehicle collision involving a Marion County school bus.
FHP reports the accident on Thursday morning near the intersection of SW 27th Ave. and SW 66th St.
According to FHP, a 24-year-old man was driving a sedan in the southbound lane of SW 27th Ave., approaching the SW 66th St. intersection.

FHP says that at the same time, a Marion County Public Schools bus was traveling in the same lane in front of the sedan with yellow flashing lights indicating that it was slowing down to pick up a child.
The sedan driver failed to slow down for the stopping bus and collided with the back right side of the bus.
FHP says there were no injuries or children on the school bus during the accident.
