OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were able to find the thief involved in stealing a Lincoln MKZ from a local high school.
How they found him is every parent’s worst nightmare.
MCSO says the father of 15-year-old Bentley Vradenburg scrolled through social media when he came across images from MCSO, asking the public to identify a suspected car thief.
To the father’s unpleasant surprise, he recognized the man in the picture as his own son.
The father then immediately contacted detectives with the MCSO, who later placed 15-year-old Vradenburg under arrest.
Deputies transported Vradenburg to the Department of Juvenile Justice, where he faces charges for Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
