BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The Belleview Chamber and Economic Partnership welcomed two new doctors to a longstanding chiropractic practice with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 4, 2025. McKenney Chiropractic Center, which has been serving the community for more than four decades, first opened its doors in 1984.
“We have a few providers here who are already in the building. We have MRI people we work with in the community,” said Dr. Ryan Stewart. “We’re excited to have everybody here. One of the things with the providers in the community—when you refer us a patient, we make you look good. And in order to do that, we actually have two new providers.”
Dr. Giovani Perez is thrilled to join the McKenney Chiropractic Center team. Originally from Puerto Rico, Perez studied chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
“I’m here to provide service to people from all backgrounds,” said Perez. “I’m just glad as a team we’re able to provide hope for those people that have been in pain for so long. Like Dr. Stewart said, our job is to make you guys look good when you send us referrals and also to get the people who come here better—give them a little bit of hope for decreased pain in their journey to wellness. I’m glad to be here.”
Dr. Abbagail Easter, a native Floridian, grew up in Crystal River and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Daytona before transitioning to Belleview. Easter was drawn to chiropractic care after witnessing how it helped her mother with back and disc issues, inspiring her to dedicate her career to helping others in the same way.
“I’m excited to be able to help the community,” said Easter.
Belleview’s expansion signals economic growth, and the new doctors’ commitment to serving the community was recognized by Belleview City Commissioner Bo Smith. City Commissioner Ron Livsey also attended the event.
“This is what it’s all about,” said Smith. “I talked to Ryan, and he gave me some insight on everything that they’re (the new doctors) doing and everything that they’re covering, helping different people in different ways. It’s so pleasing, speaking for the rest of the commission and the mayor… it makes me proud as a commissioner to see the things that you are doing like this.”
