UMATILLA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County Firefighters battled a fire that engulfed a mobile home in Umatilla on Monday night.
Authorities say the first MCFR units were dispatched to the mobile home fire in the 16900 block of SE 252nd Ave, Umatilla, around 9:57 p.m. on Monday.
Units arrived to find the house entirely covered in smoke and flames.









After nearly an hour, at 11:07 p.m., the fire was called under control.
MCFR says the occupants self-evacuated from the house without injury. No further injuries were reported to firefighters or nearby civilians.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
