OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Pickers from the hit TV show “American Pickers” are coming to Florida this January. Could you have the hidden treasure they’re looking for?

The History Channel’s “American Pickers” documentary series follows antique hunters searching private collections on back roads from coast to coast for rare items, historical relics and interesting characters.

The current season’s cast features brothers Robbie and Mike Wolfe, Danielle Colby who’s known as the ‘Shop Manager’ and ‘Jersey Jon’ Szalay who specializes in motorcycles.

The show which is in its 24th season says it aims to recycle and rescue items that have been sitting in collections for decades while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.

Now, they say they’re searching for leads here in Florida with unique items to sell and fascinating stories to tell.

Only private collections will be featured. Stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or anything open to the public will not be featured.

The show’s producers say they do not have a pre-planned route in Florida at this time. “It will all depend on the interest we receive from collectors,” said American Pickers producer Meredith Ball. “Mike and Robbie are willing to travel all over the state!”

Ball also said the exact dates in January are also not yet set.
