OCALA, FL (352today.com) — Quick action from local paramedics kept a car fire from turning into something worse Friday afternoon.
While returning to their station from a medical call, the crew aboard Marion County Fire Rescue’s (MCFR) Medic 80 came upon a car on fire along Magnolia Extension, near the hospital district. Without hesitation, the paramedics grabbed fire extinguishers from their unit and put out the flames before they could spread.
MCFR praised the duo’s fast response, calling it a prime example of first responders always being ready to step in.
