OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has cleared the wreck blocking northbound lanes near Kinderoo Academy on SW 60th Avenue/Airport Road near SW 52nd Street in Ocala. Residual traffic backups may still be present.
Originally published 6.13.25 at 7:54 a.m.: A crash has blocked all northbound lanes on SW 60th Avenue/Airport Road near SW 52nd Street, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
352today traffic spotter Jessica Maier says that the incident is causing significant traffic delays, with drivers turning around and backup stretching in both directions. If you’re heading from State Road 200, you’ll need to avoid SW 60th Avenue and take an alternate route.

The crash is near Kinderoo Children’s Academy, and parents dropping off children may need to plan extra time or detour around the closure.
FHP has not released details on injuries or suspects involved. The investigation is ongoing.
