OCALA, FL (352today.com) – One person was hospitalized Monday morning after a vehicle crashed through the exterior wall of a home on NE 14th Street.
Ocala Fire Rescue responded to the 1000 block of NE 14th Street after receiving reports of a vehicle versus building crash with possible entrapment. Firefighters arrived to find a sedan with moderate driver-side damage in the eastbound turn lane and a blue pickup truck lodged inside the corner of a nearby home.
Both drivers were safely extricated with help from firefighters. The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital by Marion County Fire Rescue.
No one was inside the home at the time of the crash, and no additional injuries were reported.
