OCALA, FL (352today.com) โ A two-vehicle crash in southwest Ocala sent one person to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a pickup truck overturned near Southwest Sixth Place.
Ocala Fire Rescue responded just before 2 p.m. and found an SUV upright with three people who were able to walk away from the scene. The second vehicle, a pickup truck, had flipped onto its roof with the driver trapped inside.
Firefighters quickly stabilized the overturned truck and used rescue tools to free the driver, who was then taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
No other injuries were reported. Ocala Police and Marion County Fire Rescue also assisted at the scene.
