MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A convicted felon is behind bars after allegedly pulling a gun during a confrontation outside a Circle K in Marion County.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Deputy Himmel responded to a reported disturbance at the convenience store located in the 16900 block of E Highway 40. The victim told the deputy that Michael Bailey displayed a firearm while she was sitting in her vehicle.
MCSO says that Bailey initially denied having a weapon but later admitted to having a firearm during the incident. As a convicted felon, it is illegal for Bailey to possess any weapons.
He was arrested at the scene and taken to the Marion County Jail.
