OCALA, FL (352today.com) โ Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) responded to a commercial structure fire at Ocala Express Laundry Center on July 15, 2025, after receiving a 911 call about a dryer on fire around 9:32 a.m.
Before crews arrived, an off-duty MCFR firefighter who was nearby entered the facility and used a fire extinguisher to knock down the flames. Firefighters from Rolling Greens Station arrived at 9:37 a.m., quickly deploying a hose line and conducting an interior attack to extinguish the fire completely.


Crews checked for any fire extension into the walls and other dryers before declaring the situation under control by 9:41 a.m. Officials determined the fire was accidental, and no injuries were reported to civilians or emergency personnel.
