LAKE COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) arrested five people in an undercover investigation to catch people contacting children online for sex.

LCSO says they conducted “Operation: Nightcrawler” along with other local and state authorities over four days, from Oct. 4 to Oct. 7.

The sting led to the arrests of:

  • Musa Sawaneh
  • Jason Spencer
  • Kahlil Amilivia Rodriguez
  • Bhaveshkumar Dhirajlal Vekaria
  • Nahuel Hurtado Humeres

The sheriff’s office says all five men thought they were chatting online with a child. Instead, it was an undercover detective. They say each suspect arranged to meetup with the child in places like a gas station and the post office with intention of engaging in sexual activity.

The sheriff’s office produced a YouTube video which includes body camera footage of the arrests of each men.

“This operation would not have been possible without the cooperation and support from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, as well as the Clermont, Tavares, Eustis, Leesburg, Mount Dora and Altamonte Springs Police Departments,” said the sheriff’s office.

Each suspect’s backgrounds and charges are listed below.

Musa Sawaneh:

  • Travel to seduce/solicit/lure/entice a child to commit sex acts

Jason Spencer

  • Traveled from Tavares
  • Travel to seduce/solicit/lure/entice a child to commit sex acts

Kahlil Amilivia Rodriguez

  • Traveled from Groveland
  • Travel to seduce a child to commit sex acts
  • Unlawful use of a two-way communication device

Bhaveshkumar Dhirajlal Vekaria

  • Traveled from Orlando
  • Travel to seduce/solicit/lure/entice a parent, legal guardian to commit sex acts with a child

Nahuel Hurtado Humeres

  • Traveled from Dundee
  • Travel to seduce/solicit/lure/entice a child to commit sex acts
  • Unlawful use of a two-way communication device

Under Florida sentencing guidelines, each faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted for traveling to seduce/solicit/lure/entice a child or a parent to commit sex acts with a child.
