OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Board of County Commissioners will be holding a public hearing Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. to consider the final millage rates and budget at the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium at 6 p.m.

The final countywide budget is in the amount of $1,119,440,652, the non-county wide entities are in the amount pf $534,021,951 for a final budget of $1,653,462,603. The final total countywide final millage rate is 4.2900 mills.

At the public hearing, the percentage increase in the final millage rate over the rolled-back rate will be announced.

Also, at the public hearing, the adoption of the final millage rate by resolution as revised. and the adoption of the final budget by resolution as amended will take place.
