CEDAR KEY, FL (352today.com) – Despite Hurricane Idalia wiping out Cedar Key in late August, the coastal community vowed its Seafood Festival would go on this year.

Thousands turned out for food, arts & crafts and a parade today, Saturday, Oct. 21.

Less than two months ago, water overflowed Second Street. Today that same stretch of road was flooded with people and pop-up tents.

The late October weather provided a perfect backdrop to welcome tourists back to the Levy County town.

The 53rd annual festival continues tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Check out the sights, sounds and you can almost smell the food in this video produced by 352today’s Alan Youngblood.
