OCALA, FL (352today.com) – When the North Central Florida Outdoor Expo opened its doors for the first time five years ago, there were roughly 65 vendors, and it was at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion in Ocala.  This year’s event, the fifth installment, boasts nearly 170 vendors in the air-conditioned Expo Center 2 at the World Equestrian Center from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 12.

This family-friendly event is a full day of educational displays, activities, market-style shopping, prizes, giveaways, demonstrations, and so much more!  The first 100 people even receive a welcome gift from our gate sponsors.  It’s just $5 to get in for adults 18 and over; 17 and under get in free.  Parking is also free which makes this a great way to see the World Equestrian Center after spending the day throwing axes, shooting arrows, participating in a virtual fishing tournament, checking out RVs, ATVs, boats, and checking out the demonstrations.

“North Central Florida is home to every outdoor activity you can imagine,” says Lisa Varner, North Central Florida Media’s Sales Manager and Events Director.  “Local residents appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what the area offers at this expo each year.”

Once again, attendees can enter to win a brand-new shed from Premier Portable Buildings and a Trek Wifi-enabled pellet grill from Sparr Building and Farm Supply.  The shed will be on-site for you to view, and those who attend can check-in on the contest form to get 100 bonus entries into the contest.  Special thanks to title sponsor Chet Craig Plumbing.

The expo is produced by North Central Florida Media (NCFM) which is 352today’s parent company. NCFM thanks its Platinum sponsors Black Label Marine Group LLC and Jenkins Subaru of Ocala.
