OCALA, FL (352today) – This sausage is stuffed with all the love you’ll ever need in an adorable wrinkly package. This week’s pup is four-year-old Sausage, and he is available for adoption at Marion County Animal Services.
With a happy personality and a smile that lights up the room, Sausage is the perfect companion for anyone. His most endearing quality is the duality of his personality. He gets excited to play and has energy to take a walk, but he can also relax and cuddle on the couch. Although he is no longer a puppy, Sausage can be easily trained with treats and toys, which he enjoys very much.
Sausage arrived to Marion County Animal Services after being found as a stray last June. Not much is known about his past, but his future is a blank slate that a forever family can fill. With his gentle soul and playful energy, he will fill even the worst days with rays of sunshine.

For January, MCAS will be waiving the adoption fee when guests purchase a Rescuers & Rescues Calendar for $15. This calendar has pictures of adorable pups with first responders from Marion County Fire Rescue, and all proceeds will benefit Marion County Animal Shelter and PETS of Marion County.
