OCALA, FL. (352today) – Meet the most gentle pup in a perfect cuddly package. Tazzy is a six-year-old hound mix waiting for her forever home at Marion County Animal Services.
Tazzy arrived at MCAS in January after a kind citizen found her as a stray. She can be quite a shy girl at first, but when she gets out of her shell, she blossoms into a bundle of love. What motivates her most is affection. After warming up to new people, she will come close and stand still for pets. One of the best things about her is that she will not demand affection; she patiently waits for it most calmly.

Tazzy is the ideal pup companion for individuals who seek a calm pet that is past the puppy stage and is good with other dogs. Those interested in Tazzy may visit Marion County Animal Services, located at 5701 SE 66th St., Ocala, or call 352-671-8700.
For the month of April, the MCAS is celebrating Kitten Preparedness Month by waiving the adoption fee for those who supply kitten supplies. For information on how to help the kittens and other updates, follow MCAS on Facebook.
