OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Aloha charity golf tournament drew golfers from around the county to support the Marion County Literacy Council and the Marion County Sexual Assault Center. The tournament was hosted on Saturday, April 18, 2026, starting at 8:30 a.m. with golfers finishing at varying times.
Prior to the tournament, teams got to the club house early for registration and breakfast for an energetic start to the day. Teams got pictures taken and received printed copies to keep. Guests could also purchase raffle tickets, enter a 50/50 raffle and bid in the silent auction where golfers could go back to the club house following the tournament and see what they won. After the tournament, Black Sheep on Boradway hosted a lively after-party to celebrate.

The tournament consisted of groups with four golfers starting at different holes and making their way around the courses in rotation. Individuals would take turns swinging until they made it into the holes with all scores being counted into a group score. Some groups swung fast and got through the course swiftly while others took their time, ensuring every shot count. WIND-FM participated as a sponsor and team during the tournament and achieved three birdies.

Some holes featured vendor booths in between or at the starting points, supporting golfing teams. Guests could either stop supporting fundraisers while gaining benefits on certain holes or grab refreshing beverages as the tournament continued. Black Sheep on Broadway featured a booth offering a variety of alcoholic beverages and sodas for golfers passing by.

All reservations for golfing teams were filled, supporting the local charities and allowing teams of golfers to have a lively day of practice and fun. For more information about Black Sheep on Broadway and the tournament, visit their website here.
