DUNNELLON, FL (352today.com) – A new Waffle House location is planned for Dunnellon, bringing the popular breakfast-anytime diner chain that never closes to one of Marion County’s growing corridors.

Permits have been filed for a new restaurant near U.S. HWY 41 and County Road 484, an area that continues to see residential and commercial development near Rainbow Springs.

While construction timelines and an official opening date have not yet been announced, the project would add another recognizable national restaurant brand to the Dunnellon area.

The future Dunnellon location would also sit near Rainbow Springs State Park, a major tourism destination that that attracts visitors throughout the year.

Known for its 24-hour service and classic diner-style menu, Georgia-bred Waffle House operates thousands of locations across the country and is especially popular throughout the Southeast.

Additional project details are expected as development moves forward.
