OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Cannon Farms offers fresh produce and family-friendly fun this weekend during their Sweet Corn Festival. The festival began on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at 11801 SW 180th Ave. Rd, Dunnellon. Guests can continue to enjoy the festivities on May 24, 2026, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to check out everything they have to offer.

Cannon Farms features a farmer’s market with fresh, locally sourced items from their farm and Plant City. All of the vegetables they have to offer are locally grown in Florida with a variety of items to choose from throughout different seasons. Their current spring and summer seasons feature items such as sweet corn, watermelon, tomatoes, apples, oranges, cantaloupe, potatoes and much more. As they move into the fall, they’ll begin to grow items such as conch field peas (also known as cream peas), black-eyed peas, onions and pumpkin amongst others. On top of the variety of fruits and vegetables offered at the farm, they also offer items such as hot sauce, honey, dressing and jars of fruit. Guests can also browse and purchase a variety of flowers they offer or try out some of the cooked corn they offered.

On Saturday, Cannon Farms sold out of their corn stalks for the day, inviting guests to return on Sunday for more corn stalks and cooked corn. For those who want to enjoy a day out with the whole family, the farm has a lot to offer for additional costs at the festival. This includes access to the farm with flower fields, live music, vendor booths, food trucks and kids play areas that include bounce houses, large bubbles, rock climbing, a slide, swings, makeshift bowling, makeshift Skee-Ball and ping pong. For more add-ons, guests can also enjoy face painting, wagon rides and grab a cup or jar to fill with hand-picked flowers from the fields.

This festival mixes energetic fun with a farmer’s market to fuel all fruit and vegetable needs from Florida sources. Entry to the farm is $5, flower picking is $15 and add-ons vary with a $20 all-in fun pass available for purchase to enjoy it all.
