OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Circle Square Commons is host to the recurring Boots and Beats dance lessons at The Town Square, 8405 SW 80th St, Ocala. They host these group dances every Wednesday, giving locals a chance to get out, have fun and learn a new skill.
The most recent line-dance group session was on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 7-9 p.m. where guests were taught line dances to multiple songs. The large group was given step-by-step instructions on how to perform each part of the dances with music. Following the lesson, music played and guests put all the moves altogether. Guests took a break between each song and dance where guests who needed extra help could get additional guidance.
Expert instructors, Chuck and Donna Nelson lead the lessons, guiding guests through the country dances. Anyone can attend whether with a group or individually and dancers of all ages and skills are encouraged to attend for a fun evening in the shopping plaza. Currently scheduled dances for this month include Wednesday, June 10, 17 and 24 from 7-9 p.m.
These lessons are free and open to the public whether trying out the dances or taking a look at how it’s done. The next upcoming event at The Town Square is Trucks & Tunes with the Dirty Birds on Friday, June 3, 2026, from 7-10 p.m.
