OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala Fire Rescue (OFR) responded to a mobile home fire Tuesday morning at Country Town Village at 2580 SE First Ave. They say as they were on their way to the scene, they spotted a “column of black smoke.” When they got to the scene, they discovered flames coming out of the window of the mobile home’s porch and living room.

Multiple crews worked together using pre-connected hose lines to attack the fire from various angles.

In just over ten minutes, the fire was extinguished.  OFR says all occupants escaped from the burning home and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
