OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Back in early June, the Daughters of the American Revolution and community hub Heart of the Park kicked off the America 250 Scavenger Hunt, a creative and inspiring way to consider our nation, its history and what its present means to you by spending time in Ocala’s picturesque Tuscawilla Park.
“There are no wrong answers–just let your creativity guide you as you wander through nature and reflect on what America might have been like 250 years ago,” reads a recent social post by the sponsors. “The experience is all about curiosity, and enjoying the outdoors.”
The America 250 Scavenger Hunt is almost over, but there’s still time to get in on the fun. The printable PDF of prompts and items to look for is still available here, but you’ll need to devote a little time before the end of Saturday, June 27, 2026, when all forms need to be dropped off in the mailbox at Heart of the Park at 516 NE Sanchez Ave.
