OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Paddock Market hosted its second Ladies Night, bringing together local, women-owned businesses for a community market. The market took place on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 6-10 p.m. at 3015 SW 32nd Ave, Ocala, with a theme of Boots, Brews & Boutiques.
Vendors lined up in the center of the Paddock Market walkways, wrapping around the entire venue in a large square where guests could easily navigate between booths, which featured a variety of custom items with accessories, hats, sweet treats, small crafts, art, handmade items, self-care products and plenty more. Guests could explore the artisan market shops along with central vendors throughout the event to support women-owned businesses. The Paddock’s multiple restaurants provided spots where guests could go to grab a bite to eat with Pita King, Four Smokes BBQ, Moody’s Brewery and more along with a snow cone truck parked outside.
Vendors noted that the Paddock Market is noticeably new to hosting Ladies Night, but that it’s a positive experience with potential to grow and a different crowd than outdoor markets in the area. This event showcased their growing community, with vendors returning from the first one, experienced vendors joining the market and new vendors getting a start. The indoor market venue also provided protection against consistent rain throughout the evening, allowing guests to shop without feeling the need to beat the weather.
This market showcased its rising popularity with community events and well-liked restaurants. Along with community events, they continue to improve the market for a positive shopping experience with their revamp of the interior decorations, adding arcade machines and their long line-up of unique shops.
Anyone can experience the artisan market throughout the week with hours matching the Paddock Mall for guests to enjoy. Their hours of operation are Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from noon-6 p.m.
