MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Office of the County Engineer, will have contractors conduct intersection realignment at the intersection of SW 80th Street and SW 77th Court this includes a complete intersection closure. No traffic of any kind will be allowed through once operations start Monday, August 24, 2026. Operations are planned to take five days, possibly longer given considerations for weather or unforeseen impacts.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and utilize the posted detour following SW 80th Ave and SW HWY 200.
