FLORIDA, U.S. (352today.com) – Representatives of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) field a lot of offers to appear at various events, learning institutions and organizations. Florida’s natural environment is a source of everything from joy and awe to tourism and recreation dollars, after all.
To help streamline and organize the process of requesting an FWC presence at an event, the agency has created a new FWC Event Portal where anyone can submit online.
“The FWC Event Portal provides a centralized system for submitting requests for FWC speakers, educational exhibits, outreach activities and other event participation opportunities,” read a recent announcement. “Through the portal, event organizers can submit details about their event, including dates, location, audience information and requested topics. Requests are reviewed by FWC staff and evaluated based on staff availability, resources and alignment with FWC’s mission and outreach priorities.”
Once their events are submitted, organizers will receive a confirmation of receipt, and additional notifications will be sent as the request works through the review process.
And it will be a process—as we mentioned above, the FWC is a popular and in-demand presence at events of all kinds, so make sure you submit your event well ahead of time.
