OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A 23-year-old man was killed, and two others were injured in a shooting incident in northwest Ocala on Sunday.

According to announcements on social media by the Ocala Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting along the 1100 block of NW 12th Avenue in Ocala at around 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.

At the scene, they encountered two male victims; one was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was transported to a nearby hospital.

Subsequent OPD updates revealed the deceased victim to be 23-year-old Tedarrium Deas, while the surviving victim was identified only as an 18-year-old male. Further, a third victim, an unidentified 31-year-old male, arrived at an area hospital later with serious injuries.

According to the OPD, a rifle was found at the scene, and a crash that occurred at the intersection of SW Martin Luther King Jr Ave and SR 200 shortly after the shooting may be connected to the incident.
