SUMTER COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is asking for your help locating a woman who they say broke into a woman’s car, stole her credit cards and then used them at local stores.
The sheriff’s office says on Oct. 17, they responded to the Palmer Legends Country Club located at 1635 Palmer Way in Lady Lake after receiving a report of ‘criminal mischief.’
A woman told deputies that her car was parked in country club lot. SCSO shared in a Facebook post that when the woman got back to her car, her passenger’s front and back windows were broken and her credit cards stolen. She later discovered that her cards were used at a Best Buy and Target in Lady Lake.
Deputies say the car break-in occurred between 4:22 and 6:07 p.m. They say they are looking for the woman pictured and that she walked with a noticeable limp. They say she got into a Ford passenger car.
