OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol has announced that southbound I-75 is completely blocked just north of Ocala.
According to the announcement, released at just after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, an overturned tractor trailer has “overturned within a construction zone” around mile marker 356 on the north side of Ocala, blocking all southbound lanes of travel.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes of travel this morning, and be very careful around construction zones and high-traffic areas with the rainy weather.
