OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Families are invited to travel back in time and explore the stories of inspirational historical figures when “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum: The Exhibit” opens Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at the Discovery Center, 701 NE Sanchez Ave.
Based on the acclaimed PBS KIDS® television series, this interactive experience follows young adventurers Xavier Riddle, his sister Yadina, and best friend Brad as they solve everyday challenges by journeying into the past to learn from real‑life heroes during their childhood.
The exhibit will be on display from Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, through Saturday, Jan. 9, 2027. The Discovery Center is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center will be closed to the public for exhibit installation through Oct. 9.
Inside the exhibit, families and young explorers will slip through a hidden passageway into the Secret Museum, where a hologram unlocks three unique moments in history. Guests can uncover a dinosaur skeleton with paleontologist Mary Anning, wander through a secret garden with botanist George Washington Carver and examine X‑rays with chemist Marie Curie. In the Hall of Heroes, visitors will discover what makes a hero and how they can be heroes today.
The PBS KIDS® TV series “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum” is inspired by the award‑winning children’s book series “Ordinary People Change the World” by Brad Meltzer and Chris Eliopoulos. “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum: The Exhibit is made possible through the generous support of the Crawford Taylor Foundation.”
