OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Nine-year-old Lennon is the third dog named after a musician in a row to visit us at the office for Project Pawsitivity, and he’s a lovable furball who’s still got a lot of love and energy left.

Lennon is a mini Aussie who came, along with a litter mate, from a breeder. Years later, members of his family ran into some medical problems and were forced to surrender loving Lennon to the Humane Society of Marion County a month ago. Lennon reportedly made it his happy temporary home right out of the gate.

Lennon weighs about 33 pounds. He knows some basic tricks, like “sit” and “lay down.” He can be a little bit picky about treats and toys (this guy knows what he likes and what he doesn’t); it seems like his primary motivations are getting skritches and making everybody around him smile.

This little fuzzball with a big heart surely won’t be at HSMC very much longer, as he’s well-behaved, loving and old enough to know when to be chill.

If you’d like to schedule a meet-and-greet with Lennon, give the Humane Society of Marion County a call at 352-873-7387 or visit their website.
