OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Children’s Alliance and CASA bring back Red Ribbon Kick Off movie nights for a series of safe, family-friendly screenings. The first happens this Friday, October 23, 2026, starting at 5:30-11:45 p.m. at the Ocala Drive In, 4850 S. Pine Ave., Ocala, where guests can gather for movies, activities and dessert.
This kick-off screening marks the beginning of Red Ribbon Week and serves as a healthy, drug-free form of entertainment. Before the movies begin, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a family-friendly tailgate party under the big screen. There will also be a First Responder Vehicle Expo, bounce houses, snow cones, community exhibitors, interactive games and giveaways.
There will be two family-friendly movies showcased on each screen. The first two screenings will begin when it gets dark. Screen 1 will feature the brand-new “Toy Story 5” and family favorite “Night at the Museum.” Screen 2 will feature the cult classic “A Goofy Movie” and the straight-up classic “Back to the Future.”
These screenings are completely free with no registration required for admission, activities and movies. Whether you’re enjoying a night out with the family, stuffing a vehicle with friends or a frequent drive-in visitor, this event has something for everyone.
