WILLISTON, FL (352today.com) – Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has updated its report that the ATV driver who was killed in a wreck was a 22-year-old Williston man.
Original story posted 10.13.24 at 1:30 p.m.: Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that a 12-year-old Williston boy is dead after crashing an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) into a tree.
FHP says that the boy was driving an ATV east on NE 10th St. in the vicinity of NE 170th Ave. They say that the boy failed to negotiate a left turn and ran the vehicle into a tree around 12:37 a.m.
Authorities say that the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
