MICANOPY, FL (352today.com) – A Lithia man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Micanopy.
On November 16, 2024, Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that troopers discovered a dark-colored Kia Seltos off the roadway near US 441 and CR 234.
Investigators say that the vehicle veered off the roadway for unknown reasons before colliding with a utility pole.
They say that the driver, a 21-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
